Ernest Obama et Vision 4 bientôt devant la barre
Dans l’affaire qui oppose le journaliste et son ancien employeur à la fondation Ayah Abine, le juge du tribunal de grande instance de Yaoundé Centre administratif s’est déclaré compétent pour juger l’affaire.
C’est une affaire qui traîne depuis déjà deux années. Ernest Obama était alors directeur de Vision 4. Sur les antennes de Vision 4, Success Nkongho, ancien séparatiste ayant déposé les armes au dialogue national avait accusé l’ONG de financer la guerre dans les régions du Nord-Ouest et du Sud-Ouest. Des accusations reprises par Ernest Obama dans le cadre de l’émission Tour d’horizon. Ceci avait été relayé par le journal l’Anecdote, le média en ligne « Ma Kondrè Pipo Ndem ». Ayah Ayah Abine, coordonnateur de cette association avait alors décidé de déposer plusieurs plaintes devant la justice contre la chaîne Vision 4, Ernest Obama, Success Nkongho et My Kondrè Pipo Ndem.
Après deux années, l’affaire pourrait enfin passer en jugement. En effet, malgré les objections formulées par les avocats du groupe l’Anecdote, le tribunal de première instance du Centre administratif de Yaoundé vient de se déclarer compétent pour juger cette affaire. Ernest Obama et son ancien employeur pourrait être donc très bientôt devant la barre, pour répondre des accusations portées contre eux et prouver qu’ils n’ont pas diffamé la fondation.
