Un Caméraman de Canal 2 agressé par des agents de la Commune de Yaoundé V

La scène s’est déroulée ce 29 avril 2021. C’était au cours d’une rixe qui a opposé les agents de la Commune de Yaoundé V à des mototaximen. Son matériel aurait été sérieusement endommagé, saisi, le syndicat national des journalistes du Cameroun a exprimé son mécontentement.

Bertrand Tsasse puisqu’il s’agit de lui, n’oubliera pas de sitôt la journée du 29 avril 2021. Le Cameraman de Canal 2 International a été pris à partie par des agents de la Commune d’arrondissement de Yaoundé V, alors qu’il couvrait une rixe entre des conducteurs de mototaxi et lesdits agents. Son matériel de travail aurait été cassé et confisqué par ses agresseurs. Ils lui auraient également propos la mort, ainsi qu’aux chauffeurs et journalistes de la chaîne aussi présents.

Une attaque contre des hommes de médias à la veille de la journée de la Liberté de la presse qui est dénoncé par le syndicat national des journalistes du Cameroun. Dans un communiqué publié ce 29 avril 2021 par son secrétaire à la Communication Charles Ngah Nforgang, le syndicat dénonce cette attaque et annonce avoir saisi le maire de Yaoundé V qui se serait contenté de noter que les journalistes n’avaient pas à se trouver en ces lieux. Une information judiciaire pourrait être engagée dans les prochains jours.
