Médiatude lance un appel à candidatures pour le prix du meilleur reportage sportif 2021.

APERÇU ET CONTEXTE

• Décerné aux professionnels des médias, le prix du meilleur reportage sportif 2021 est une innovation de Médiatude dans le cadre des AWARDS DES MÉDIAS saison 5. Il porte sur la contribution des journalistes à la vulgarisation de la CAN 2021 auprès de ses publics et de la population.
• La récompense s’élève à 200 000 FCFA pour le vainqueur.
• L’édition 2021 du prix est une édition spéciale.

CRITÈRES ET PROCESSUS DE SÉLECTION

• Qui peut soumettre sa candidature ?
  • Les journalistes exerçant au Cameroun en presse écrite ou audiovisuelle.

• Sont éligibles
  • Tous les reportages diffusés entre le 01^er janvier 2021 et le 31 décembre 2021 et traitant des différents aspects liés à la préparation de la coupe d’Afrique des Nations 2021 au Cameroun, notamment les thématiques suivantes :
    • L’état d’avancement des infrastructures ;
    • Les menaces de retrait de l’organisation de la CAN par la CAF ;
    • La CAN de tous les doutes.

➢ Critères d’évaluation

Les candidatures seront évaluées sur la base des éléments suivants :

• La maîtrise du sujet ;
• La qualité des éléments sonores ;
• La qualité des images ;
• Le choix des personnes ressources ;
• La durée du reportage (calibrage sur la base des formats standards) et le respect du nombre de caractères indiqués (pour la presse écrite)

• Comment candidater 

Les candidatures sont à transmettre par mail à : sport2021@mediatudecmr.com

 Le dossier de candidature doit comporter :

• Une déclaration de candidature avec indication complète de l’identité du candidat (nom, prénom, pseudonyme ou nom de plume utilisé) ;
• Une copie de la production objet de candidature en format PDF, vidéo MP4 ou fichier audio MP3 ou un lien URL ;
• Une attestation confirmant son appartenance à la rédaction de l’organe de presse ayant publié son œuvre ;
• Un curriculum vitae.

• Langues et formats

Les reportages doivent être rédigés en français ou en anglais et se conformer aux formats standards compris entre deux (2) et cinq (5) minutes (audiovisuel) et 2000 à 5000 signes pour les candidats de la presse écrite.

CALENDRIER

Les candidatures sont ouvertes du 07 mars 2022 au 22 mars 2022 à minuit, heure de Yaoundé au Cameroun.

Les candidats finalistes seront invités à la cérémonie de remise de prix qui se tiendra le 26 mars 2022 à Canal Olympia Yaoundé.

Mediatude is calling for applications for the best sports reporting award.

OVERVIEW AND BACKGROUND

➢ Awarded to media professionals, the Best Sports Reporting Award 2021 is a Mediatude innovation within the framework of the MEDIA AWARDS Season 5. It focuses on the contribution of journalists to the popularization of the CAN among its audiences and the population.

➢ The reward amounts to 200,000 FCFA for the winner

➢ The 2021 edition of the award is a special edition.

SELECTION CRITERIA AND PROCESS

➢ Who can apply?

o Journalists working in Cameroon in print or broadcast media.

➢ The following are eligible

o All reports broadcast between January 01, 2021 and December 31, 2021 and dealing with the various aspects related to the preparation of the African Cup of Nations in Cameroon, including the following themes:

▪ The state of progress of the infrastructures;

▪ The threats of withdrawal of the organization of the CAN by the CAF;

▪ The CAN of all doubts.

➢ Evaluation criteria

Applications will be evaluated on the basis of the following:

– The mastery of the subject matter;

– The quality of the sound elements;

– The quality of the images;

– The choice of resource persons;

– Length of the story (calibrated to standard formats) and adherence to the stated character count (for print media).

➢ How to apply

 The application file must include:

– A declaration of candidacy with a complete indication of the candidate’s identity (surname, first name, pseudonym or pen name used) ;
– A copy of the production applied for in PDF format, MP4 video or MP3 audio file or a URL link;
– A certificate confirming that the applicant is a member of the editorial staff of the media organization that published the work;
– A curriculum vitae.

➢ Languages and formats.

Stories must be written in English or French and conform to standard formats of between two (2) and five (5) minutes (Audio-visual) and 2000 to 5000 signs for print media applicants.

SCHEDULE

Applications are open from March 07, 2022 to March 22, 2022 at midnight, Yaoundé time in Cameroon.

Finalists will be invited to the award ceremony to be held on March 26, 2022 at Canal Olympia Yaoundé.
